DISHtasteful: A Not-So-Ordinary Tea Tasting
Join us for a not-so-ordinary tea tasting where you can discover new teas or appreciate old favorites. In a small group of 10 or less, we will guide you through a tasting of 5 to 8 teas. The tea tasting will be themed around country of origin, history, or other characteristics like taste and health benefits.
We will present each tea individually, observing the leaf before and after steeping. Then, we will taste each tea and take notes on our impressions of the aroma and flavor. As a traditional accompaniment to tea, we will serve our homemade scones and Devonshire cream . To complete your tea tasting experience, you may take home sample-sized tea bags of three of your favorites.
The cost per person for this event is $15. For tea tasters, all loose leaf teas are 10% off during this event. Reservations are required in advance.
